Major: WLP: Publishing '21
Pledge class: Spring 2020
Position in Zeta: FSL Social Chair
What made you decide to join Zeta?
I joined Zeta because I saw a group of people who are powerhouses and that love unconditionally. Which was exactly what I was looking for in a community. Love and support!
What are you involved in on campus besides Zeta?
I co-founded First Gen E-M, a First Generation College Student resource group, I am the president of Emerson Reads YA, and I also am involved with Survivor Boston.
How has Zeta helped you professionally and personally?
Professionally, Zeta has helped me become more confident in myself and skills. In interviews I am able to come in more prepared to not only discuss the role I am applying for but also being able to tell stories of my strengths and skill set that I would contribute to the role. Personally, Zeta has helped me find a home, a place where I can call anyone for anything and they'd be there for me.
What are three professional goals/aspirations you have?
1. To create meaningful change for those who have been underrepresented.
2. To work my way up in the Publishing industry
3. To never lose sight of who I am, to make sure that I always stand up for what I believe in.
What is a piece of advice you would give to your freshman self?
Everything happens for a reason. Don't rush... good things will come and it will all make sense.
What is an organization you'd like to highlight and bring attention to or a cause you're passionate about?
